Christmas Eve Eve

Underneath the glow of Christmas tree lights we camped out. The quiet stillness of the night was so peaceful and I had a hard time letting in to sleep.

They fell asleep holding hands.

Kisses and Cookies

They don't want anyone to know, but they really do love each other.

After a quick hair tutorial on Youtube, Addi got Anna's hairdo and then we spent the day baking and decorating gingerbread and sugar cookies!

The Christmas morning anticipation is thick around here. I do mean things like tell Landon it is Christmas and then quickly tell him it really isn't. I know, so mean, but also a little funny. Addi is constantly telling us how many more days until Christmas and she guesses what everyone got her!

Less than two full days on Christmas break and they are already picking on each other. They are in need of constant reminding that Santa will still move them to the naughty list if needed.

Four more days until Christmas Morning!

Visitors

They were here just long enough to watch Addi's Christmas program, watch a gymnastics practice,  nickname Grandpa and open a early gift!

Landon's White Out

He'll 'dress-up' in his 'fancy clothes' for me. He loves it. Especially the vest and tie. But he's completely over being posed and asked to smile! He doesn't fall for the monkey-on-my-head game anymore and none of my tricks work with him. So I don't even try. Just seeing me with my camera causes him to shriek, "don't take me's picture anymore!"

He's complelty emerssed in all things three. The more destructive an activity the more appealing. A casual walk through our yard to see the pretty frosted trees wasn't exciting enough and he knew I had alterer motives with my camera in hand. He looked at the ground most of our time and refused to play with me.

Then he noticed by accidentally bumping into the trees that the frost would fall on his head. It perfeclty destroyed the beautiful, picturesque frost that I was hoping to capture --- but, now it was fun!
