With the start of school, we can say that summer is already over. I will be devastated to say goodbye to warm, lazy summer days full of play and fun. I will miss seeing Landon in only a diaper and rain boots. I will miss Addi's adorable tan little body waking up and going to sleep in a swimsuit. The steady string of visitors will slow and I will miss seeing friends and family.

Summer is full of warm memories, happy times together and endless, careless days filled with fun and for each and every memory, I am grateful.

Special Visitors

Since moving to our farm we have had a summer full of special visitors. It has been a blast! We have loved it!

*** Notice a pattern: Sammy the Goat steals any heart that steps onto this place! He is so cool.

Grandma and Grandpa Powell helped us move into our new house. They were able to stay overnight. They also helped me clean the old place, mow the yard and shampoo the carpets!

Aunt Moni and Uncle Mike stayed a night while they were visiting Montana! Aunt Moni gave Mariah a huge, horse massage!

Aunt Jaci stayed with us for a whole week! We had so much fun! I didn't want her to leave.

Papa and Uncle Roger came over! They fixed and repaired all sorts of things. Papa brought over his 4-wheeler. We took a long evening drive in the woods looking for bears. We saw two huge bull elk and even heard Sasquatch!!

Mama's dear friend Jen and her family, Chris and sweet Callie came for a night on their way to Glacier. It was our first time meeting Callie. She is so cool. Addi really wanted to adopt her! I really wish they lived closer.

Grandma Bobbi, Grandpa Mark, Jake, Jack, Jessica and Jaci came and stayed two nights.

Ember and her awesome kiddos, Ella & Will came over. We went swimming, and visited The Ice Cream Parlor. We had a blast playing on farm with them!

We hope this trend continues through the fall.
