New Year's Eve
We had a wonderful, impromptu, New Year's Eve night. When our original plans changed late in the day we decided to spend a quiet night at home. Spencer called and let us know his band was performing for First Night in a downtown coffee shop. We bundled up and headed downtown. The snow was falling and Addison was squealing with excitement. She has been sort of cooped up due to being sick. She was loving all the snow. She ran everywhere and was opening her mouth and looking up to catch snow flakes on her tongue. She would crack up when a snowflake would land on her nose. We ended up at Bernice's Bakery and shared some yummy cupcakes and peanut butter bars and coffee. We walked from there to ZooTown Brew where Spencer was playing. Addison ran around the coffee shop meeting new friends and dancing to Uncle Spencer's music. She literally drug Grandma Deaette out to dance with her! On the walk back to the car we had a snowball fight! Addison came home and played outside in the snow until around 11:30! She was sound asleep before midnight, but she got close to making it!
