Flathead Birthday Celebration

Our friends, Dave & Emily, have their birthdays in the same week. For the past many years (10+) it has been a tradition to celebrate with family and friends at Dave's family cabin on Flathead Lake. This year was no exception. Jake, Jody & sweet boy Christian and Jared and Sara (Sara's birthday is also this weekend, same day as Dave's!) were there, along with many new friends!  With us all above or near that 30 year mark and with the little children running around, it has transformed into a much different sort of celebration!

There is no need to check the weather report! It goes unsaid that the weather at the lake on this birthday weekend will be cold, rainy, windy and some years snowy. We pack the long underwear and go with a smile! As we pulled away on Monday to drive home, the sun came out and it got warm! Of course it did!
