Hello! I'm Back!

I haven't blogged in over a month. SO much has happened. Our life has changed, grown and I am so excited to blog about it all. Let's see here, there is the last day of vacation (in June!), the 4th of July, a birthday, a new house, a wedding, visits from cherished people, long summer days in the sunshine, a family gathering at the cabin, eggs, and goats and Addi's first fall off the horse. I'm at a loss at where to start so I am easing back into it! I'll start with this...

I can't say it enough, we are love-love-LOVING farm life. This is exactly where we are meant to be. Addi and Landon run wild in the purest of way. Landon chases Sammy his "kid" brother in bare feet all over the place, we eat fresh chicken eggs for breakfast, sleep under the stars on the deck, pick garden carrots for Mariah the horse, wake up to the sunrise (thanks to Wormwood, our rooster), water our orchard, Addi rides her bike on dirt road to check the mail, and we play king of the mountain with the goat herd. It is our little piece of Montana paradise and we are so happy to be home.

Daddy walking the horse!

A bountiful basket from our backyard.

Straight outta the pod.

What's the hold up Cluck-Cluck? I'm here on schedule to collect.

Sharing his snack with his buddy.

Lazy evenings drinking beer with the goat! They were both sound asleep in the swing a little while later!

Happy to follow her lil' cowgirl.

It's fire season in the Bob Marshall.

Fresh treats for the horse.

His bike riding buddy.

If you are furry and cute, you are always welcome at our picnic table.

Bonding.

Nugget was grounded after an all night excursion to the next ranch.
Sad thing is, is we haven't seen him in days.
We are fearing the worst. Hope he finds his way back.

Sunsets ove wheat fields.

We were given quite the welcome home party from our new babies.

Yes, I kiss the baby goats!

First time collecting eggs.

She's in love.
Cuddle on the porch swing.
Taking a long nap with the baby goat.

Feeding Sammy the Goat his milk bottle.

Stop by the Lazy P Farm anytime! Grab your drink of choice and we'll meet you on the deck. We promise fresh eggs for breakfast, goat steaks for dinner (that is totally a joke!!) and good laughs. We won't even put you to work!  {Unless you are like Papa. In that case, if you refuse to relax, you can stain the deck, fix a leaky hose, muck out the chicken coop or frame the basement!}
